The Oracle performance, evocative of the communication of the sun's position in a miniscule society rarely noticed, challenges the natural vertical dances of bees as the artist moves horizontally bringing to mind ancient movements as her body calls to onlookers to discover for themselves where the 'reason' behind the fundamentally direct but kinaesthetic communiqué lies. This honey covered body seems to unashamedly call out for the sun's coordinates and yet is completely distanced from the natural elements as well as the onlookers, much in the same way, honey bees are from the prying eyes which bore through into the habit of others. This sensual, inviting, fundamental exploration draws the viewer to question not only the communication presented but also their own position as voyeur and the structure of their own directions and source of power.
