Synopsis

Freedom is a violent project breaking away, with the constant risk of falling back under the sway of a power as securing as it is stifling. Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. If you want to save Peru, go and save Peru. If you want to save the whales go and save the whales. But the most courageous act is still to think for yourself, aloud.

The second freedom is not anything goes but everyone stays. Meanings of this ultimate sentence may be very different, they always depend on the individual who chooses to be free. Any autonomy starts exactly with the personal decision that I will be free. The project practises freedom in an unfree society, if somewhat simplified. This practising freedom can be very complex, often also hard. On the other hand, it is the only politically emancipatory act.

Performance The Second Freedom is a form of creative expression, which decides to evade the logic of the market, it decides to challenge the distinguishing of the reality from fantasy, truth from propaganda.
