Geneviève Castrée does not expect workshop participants to have any drawing skills or be familiar with cartoon patterns. Nevertheless, she fervently believes that anybody can conceive, sketch, draught and publish an illustrated story. In order to encourage others in this belief, she brought some editions by established – and particularly stubborn female authors – to the workshop who have succeeded despite their obvious lack of drawing skills.
