Vesna Milicevic was born in Belgrade, Serbia (1971) where she lives and works. She graduated in 1988 with MA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. As an interdisciplinary artist, her work investigates the relationship between intimate and social facts, as well as questions national and personal identity and the paradox of contemporary living. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions internationally, including among others: Dogma, HDLU Zagreb, Croatia, 2009; This Day, Tate Modern, London, 2007; ICEBOX 02, Audio/Visual Art Festival, Cape Town, South Africa, 2007.
