Biography

 

Since graduating in 2001 from the Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten Judith Witteman's artistic practice focuses mainly on performance and live art as well as drawing. In the year 2010 she played a lead roll in Blue Desert, a film by Eder Santos shot in Brazil and Chile. Her exhibitions include: Beehive Experiment, OT301, Amsterdam, 2010; AWA Presents, Stoa Aeschylou, Nicosia, Cyprus, 2010; Dogma, HDLU, Zagreb, Croatia, 2009; Crime and Punishment, 198 Gallery, London, 2008; Unbound, Contemporary Art Platform, London, 2007; Bound, Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool, 2007.
