Roberto Foddai is an artist from Sardinia. He graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti, Sassari in 1995 and works mainly in photography. Foddai’s work is story-based. With it he communicates about significant cultural and social issues while reflecting upon cinema, memory and nostalgia. The most recent exhibitions include: Lingering Whispers, Crypt of St Pancras Church, London, 2010; Crime & Punishment The Sequel, Kortil Gallery, Rijeka, and Dogma, HDLU, Zagreb, both in Croatia in 2009. He is currently working on photographs for a book by the British poet J. L. Nash. Foddai is based in London.
