Born in 1961 in Innsbruck, Austria, Barbara Doser today lives and works in Vienna, where she studied art history, gaining her doctorate in 1989. Since 1993, Barbara Doser has worked as a freelance artist, working in such areas as video feedback, processes in experimental and documentary videos, video/media installations as well as paintings (from video stills). Her work has been presented in exhibitions and events in Austria and more than 30 countries abroad.
