Biography

 

An art historian, visual art critic and feminist theoretician, Dr Tanja Mastnak has been in recent years ever more active in the field of education. In her doctoral thesis entitled Kreativni potencial obrobnega: ženske v likovni umetnosti [The Creative Potential of the Marginal: Women in Visual Arts] she presented the possibility of different interpretations of women's art produced in Slovenian modernism and the establishment of new art-historian methodologies. Tanja Mastnak participated in the foundation of women's studies magazine Delta and the concept and implementation of the City of Women Festival.
