Meta Krese graduated in agronomy, received her master's degree in cultural anthropology and studied photography in London. Just this year, she completed her studies at the Danish school for journalism, part of the SEENPM Network. She works as a journalist and a photographer. She is also the editor of Slovene magazine Photographs.
Her numerous reports come from far-off places or the somewhat closer, but no less interesting, Balkan countries: only a few were made in Slovenia, though she likes it best. Through these reports, she engages herself to socially relevant topics.
