Jackie Buet is director of the Women's International Film Festival of Créteil and Val-de-Marne (Films de femmes), where she's responsible for programme and dissemination activities throughout the year. She co-founded the festival with Elisabeth Tréhard in 1979. Furthermore, she works in the field of Audiovisual Creation of Women at Multimedia Resource Center. In 1993 she published 20 ans de théories féministes sur le cinéma, with Ginette Vincendeau and Bérénice Reynaud.
