Antoinette Jadaone graduated cum laude with a degree in Film and Audio-Visual Communication from the University of the Philippines in 2006. Originally a Broadcast Communication major, she was intent on pursuing her childhood dream of becoming a sportscaster. A dream that Antoinette abandoned when she realized that she wouldn’t grow beyond 5 ft (1.52 m) tall, which meant that if she interviewed a basketball player - basketball being her country’s most popular recreation - they wouldn’t fit in the frame together. Her first ever short film ‘Plano, and her most major endeavour to date, remains Antoinette Jadaone’s most recognized piece. Indeed, Antoinette has short attention span, so she considers short filmmaking something of a soul mate. Alexis Tioseco
