Mariusz Kruk from 1978-1982 studied painting at the Academy of fine Arts in Poznań. In the years 1983-1994 he was a lecturer at Academy of fine Arts in Poznań and again from 2005. In 1983 he established the Koło Klipsa group, which was active until 1987. Since the time of leaving the group he has worked by himself. In the period 1995-2002 the artist lived in southern France. He is active in painting, drawing objects and installations. He is also an author of short poetical works, fairytales and stories.
