Goran Bertok conceived a sadomasochistic performance Flesh of a Slave, in which a man with a mask was tormented by a woman dressed as a nun piercing and burning his skin. Based on performance, Bertok produced a series of black and white photographs.
The performance was a part of a body-art series The Beauty of the Extreme II.
