Synopsis

The point is capital accumulation, not food, claims Donna Haraway and continues that the organism has been translated into problems of genetic coding and read out. The world becomes a game plan; ever ything is only a move; to win is to stay in the game; to persist is to communicate successfully, to reproduce favour ably, to replicate faithfully enough. Perhaps there is nothing new here, but only the traditional moves of reductionism which is »To the Limit… And Beyond« so friendly towards capitalist integration, and the ongoing, self-accumulating growth of capit al. Petra Feriancova's work is an inscription it takes your breath away, for a different tomorrow, it doesn’t cost a cent, for the young at age as well as at heart, for brats ( Slovak Republic) located in Republic Square next to Cankarjev Dom - the commercial, monetary, governmental, cultural and even sacral heart of Slovenia, the urban node of a capital city. A several-metre long inscription of wheat sprouts illustrates the pace of capital growth – rather than shooting up like mushrooms after rain, it grows exponentially, comparable to the speed of germinating wheat.
