As a guest of the COWeb platform – City of Women Goes Web – Régine Debatty wrote a blog and held a lecture aimed at COWeb group of writers as well as broader public, allowing them to learn about her blogging experience, how to write – and make a living from writing – and what it is that determines a world famous blogger.
Before becoming a blogger, Régine Debatty studied classical philology in Belgium and England, and was a teacher of Latin and Ancient Greek. She later became interested in media, and directed documentary films for Belgium state television, reported for Onda Cero – a Spanish radio station – and worked in Italy as a consultant for the European Commission’s MEDIA programme.
