Our Autonomous Life? (OAL) was conceived and developed alongside the Grand Domestic Revolution in 2011-2012 in collaboration with artist Maria Pask and cultural anthropologist Nazima Kadir. Since the broadcast of the first season on Utrecht local television, some members of the evolving cast and writers have formed a collective, workshopping and discussing the issues and themes further in various events. Recent core members of the OAL collective include Katayoun Arian, Priscilla Desert, Anja Groten, Nazima Kadir, Klaar van der Lippe, Bart Stuart, Maiko Tanaka and Mariska Versantvoort.
